Threat Management Strategies (TMS)
Specifically designed to counter, manage, and mitigate the threat/risk posed by identified/unknown and potential/real threat sources. CJES-determined strategies are guided by case, subject, situational aspects, and other variables requiring single, multiple, and/or intermixed strategies to appropriately and effectively manage the threat/risk.
Supported by threat/risk vulnerability and threat source intelligence assessments, CJES-determined strategies form the basis of a comprehensive Threat Management Strategic Plan (TMSP) – intended to minimize, if not eliminate the assessed threat/risk against a facility, operation, and key personnel (including family members).
